Dog Park Updates

This winter the park has been a busy place, with many new dogs attending. The dogs just love to play and romp in the snow. If you look below, you can see even the owners have been enjoying playing at the park, building a snowman for the dogs to enjoy.

We would like to thank everyone for attending the Halloween Party and making it a huge success.

Many of you have asked Donna for her recipe for the dog biscuits she baked that were in the goodies bags. The recipe has now been posted on the Park News page of the web site.

If you have not renewed your Pooch Pass please do so, they are now expired. Your dog is going to miss out on all the enjoyment and activity at the park if you do not renew now.

Friends of the Middle Island Dog Park D.O.G. Dog Owners Group

The group was set up so we could communicate, plan, and pursue our goal, a healthy, safe and fun place for our dogs and ourselves. If you would like to take an active part in helping the park, the animals and the patrons, please join our group.

Middle Island Dog Park is now listed on Newsday.com.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the Newsday page, where the park is listed, (on the right side) click upload your pet photos, you can fill out a brief form and submit photos of your dogs.

To add pictures of your dogs here on the blog, please email me, Barbara at midogpark@yahoo.com Attach your dogs photo with name and your dogs picture will be displayed here also.

The park is also listed on LIdog.org, A Long Island Dog Owners Group.
